Water cremation returns a body to nature using warm water instead of flame, quietly, gradually, and with a far lighter footprint on the earth. We were the first funeral home in Colorado to offer it, and we still perform every one ourselves, in our own care center.

Your person comes into our own facility, carried by our own hands. Your family is welcome to gather, to sit with them, and to say goodbye at whatever pace feels right.

A gentle, flameless process
Your person rests in a bath of warm water with a small amount of natural alkali, the same quiet chemistry the earth itself uses, only gathered into hours instead of years. There is no fire, no smoke, and nothing hurried about it.

What water cremation leaves behind
When the water has done its gentle work, two things remain. Pure white mineral ash, softer and lighter than what flame cremation returns. And the essence, a nutrient-rich liquid that is wonderful for plants and gardens.

A return to your family
We place the ashes in a simple, beautiful vessel and return them to you, to keep, to scatter somewhere loved, or to transform into parting stones your family can hold. The essence can come home with you as well, to feed a tree or a garden your person would have loved.
