Warren Alfred Krueger
October 16, 1943 – April 12, 2023
Warren Alfred Krueger, 79, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away peacefully in Longmont on April 12, 2023. He was born and raised in Emporia, KS.
After graduating high school in Kansas, Warren joined the U.S. Navy where he served in many overseas assignments before returning and marrying Victoria Brown. They moved to Colorado where Warren worked as a carpenter. Later he started a residential home building business in Lafayette, CO, where his three sons and a granddaughter continue his legacy today. He had a deep love for family, friendship, faith, hard work and was a genuine kind-hearted soul all with a good sense of humor.
Warren is deeply loved and survived by his wife of 57 years Victoria (Brown) Krueger and his children Warren Krueger, Brian Krueger, Stacy Embleton, Heather Stephen, and Matthew Krueger. He delighted in his grandchildren: Stephanie Domingue, Elisabeth Vandegrift, Ben Krueger, Joshua Krueger, Emily Krueger, Katie Krueger, Seth Embleton, Annaliese Embleton, Hannah Embleton, Noble Embleton, Acacia Stephen, Alea Stephen, Ryleigh Stephen, Kenna Stephen, Damian Stephen, Darian Stephen, Amelia Krueger, Madelyn Krueger, Sadie Krueger and 3 Great Grand Children: Lillian Domingue, Ramona Domingue, and Frances Domingue.
I knew and loved Warren. He was a delight to work with.
I’m saddened to learn of Warren’s passing. I was just looking him up as a former classmate at Sacred Heart School in Emporia Ks. I left Emporia after 6th grade and Warren was a friend and good natured competitor for grades. May he rest in peace.
