May 8, 1971 – February 1, 2024
Steve was an amazing, beautiful and creative person. His life started in Iowa and as a kid he moved with his family to Colorado and grew up alongside the Roaring Fork river in the Rocky Mountains. After high school, he lived in Los Angeles while completing his bachelor’s degree at UCLA, then returned to Colorado for his master’s. He settled in the hamlet of Lafayette, where he and his wife had a child, now in high school, whom they cherish and are very proud of. Over two decades, they adopted three well-loved and quirky dogs.
Steve continuously pursued learning in many areas. He was a writer, musician, songwriter, screenwriter, singer, athlete, parent, spouse, sibling, son, uncle, lifelong friend and so much more. He is survived by his wife Andrea, their kiddo Victor, parents Stanley Posusta and Katherine Bostian, sister Laura and brother-in-law Jarret, nieces Maya, Aislin and Talia, mother-in-law Ruth, sister-in-law Thalia and brother-in-law Andrew, beloved aunts, uncles and cousins, dogs Dean and Willa, and too many friends to list.
A memorial get-together is still in the planning stages and will be updated here. We will also directly contact you with details.
Steve’s energy and kindness is definitely missed. Sending love to all of his family and friends ????
Thanks, Charleen. Love back to you and the Bell family.
