  1. I had the pleasure of meeting Steve and getting to know him over the past year when I’d come to Sterling and work at the dialysis clinic. I always really looked forward to seeing him and talking to him about polishing rocks, his life’s adventures, and his times spent mining. I found out today of his passing after arriving in Sterling. It really bummed me out because he was the person I was most looking forward to seeing. He was such an amazing person and God gained another angel. Rest in peace Steve and thank you for touching so many lives including mine. I will never forget your kindness and promise to continue collecting and polishing rocks.
