Ramona Montoya

Ramona Montoya “Mona” 60 years young of Denver, CO passed on August 10, 2018, surrounded by her loving children and extended family after losing her battle with cancer. Mona was born in Los Angeles, CA to Arturo and Cecilia on July 17, 1958. She was a mother to 5 wonderful children. She enjoyed swimming, camping, and spending time with her family and rooting for her beloved Oakland Raiders.

She is survived by her Mother, Cecilia Aragon, brothers, Donald and Ronald Garcia, Sisters, Tammy and Patricia Garcia. Her children, Jerry and Alicia Montoya, Desiree Montoya and Alfredo Medina, Dawn Jolly and Megan Roybal, Debra and Steven Shippley, Cecilia “Danielle” and Eduardo Medina, 14 beautiful grandchildren, and one great grandchild. She will be deeply missed, but we know she is happy dancing in the sky.

Her life will be celebrated on August 24, 2018.

Spreading of her ashes and memorial at O’Fallon Park 25500 CO-74, Morrison CO at 10am. Reception to follow at the American Legion 1901 Harlan St . Edgewater, CO 80214 1pm-5pm.
