Michele Desnoes

Michele Desnoes was born August 4 th , 1948 in Rockville Centre, NY. She was a free spirit in her younger years until she settled in Colorado with her young family. She studied psychology and earned her Master’s degree from Colorado State University. She loved teaching and was able to do that for part of her career at Front Range Community College. She then went on to do important work for Hospice of Larimer County/Pathways Hospice. Most importantly she was a lover of her husband, children, friends, animals, books and art. She is eternally loved and sorely missed.

Survived by her husband – Mark Portel, sweet cat – Gandalf the Grey, daughter – Rebecca Beland (Patrick Cavin), sister – Linda Taylor (Tom Taylor) and brother Peter Desnoes. As well as many nieces and nephews.
