Emil Dungen

Emil Jeffrey Von Dungen, AKA JVonD. August 19th, 1973 – December 22, 2021. Loving father, son, and brother. Born and raised in Buffalo, New York by his two loving parents Emil Von Dungen and Joanne Von Dungen, side by side with his brother Eric whom he loved and admired. JVonD graduated from Cazenovia college before venturing west, landing in Leadville Colorado, where his adventures continued. Making music, climbing mountains, drinking beer, camping, boating, disc golf, tv, playing the Wii with his daughter Sophie, eating delicious food prepared by his wife Claire, and adventures to the dog park with his beloved “Lady” were among his many joys in life. After a time in Leadville he ventured farther west to L.A. to continue his Rock Star career. After a few years in the big time his longing for the mountains brought him back to Colorado where he settled in Boulder, where he met the love of his life and mother to his daughter, Claire Young. Later settling in Longmont, CO. to continue his passion for music and love of gardening. Creating many memories to be cherished for all time, for “Memories are what life is”. He is survived by his mother Joanne Von Dungen, brother Eric Von Dungen (Jen-sister-in-law), wife Claire Young, daughter Sophie Von Dungen, nieces Ella and Anna Vondungen, and uncle and aunt Daniel and Arlene Krajewski.
