Elizabeth Berry McCabe Morris

The world lost a beautiful and loving soul with the passing of Elizabeth Berry McCabe Morris on September 18, 2026.

Elizabeth, known to her family as Libbe, was a dedicated and deeply caring person. She went above and beyond to show her love and could always be counted on for support or kindness. Her daughter Aislinn Grace Morris was her absolute pride and joy. Her love for her daughter was an inspiration and will live on.

Libbe was born to Dr. Edward McCabe and Dr. Paula Dail and raised in Madison, Wisconsin. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and went on to build a long and successful career in human resources, executive recruiting, and corporate finance. She was a creative thinker and extremely tenacious. She was highly regarded in her industry.

In 2011, following the passing of her father, Libbe moved to Boulder with her family to be closer to her sister Sabrina and her stepmother Pixie. It was in Colorado that she developed a passion for sports, the outdoors, and a deep love for CrossFit. Her community at CrossFit was a very important part of her life, and her dedication to the sport was impressive. She also loved riding her bike, hiking in the mountains, and skiing. Physical fitness and health were central to the way she lived her life. She was a wonderful cook, generous hostess, and lovely person to be around.

Libbe had a huge heart, a curious mind, a great sense of humor, and was always so much fun to be around. She was a yes person who would always show up for the people she loved. She was committed to her community in many ways; she had a deep commitment to supporting fundraising efforts for the Blue Sky Bridge Child Advocacy Center.

Her family and friends are devastated by her sudden and unexpected passing. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, aunt, daughter, and caring community member. She is survived by her daughter Aislinn Grace; her husband John; her mother Paula (Bill); her stepmother Pixie; and her siblings Wende (Peter and children), Jennifer (Don), Carrie (Bob and children), Matthew, and Sabrina (Max and children); as well as beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
