Daniel Brewington

Daniel H. Brewington, 55 years young, passed on September 8, 2022 while at home surrounded by family and friends. The memories of these last few sunny days spending time together, holding hands, and being there for each other will always be remembered. Our community came together when we needed it the most and this is a testament to Dan’s character. When you spend your life doing the right thing and loving each person no matter who they are, your legacy will be impactful.

Dan is survived by his wife Pam Brewington and his children Brandon Maxwell, Brandon, Danny, and EV. His kids are talented young people in everything they do, and a credit to Dan as their father. A loving husband and father, his gratitude to his family was apparent in everything he did. He was each of his loved one’s biggest fan and supporter. Although hard-working and proud, he always found a way to celebrate life, whether it was traveling with the family to far-off locations or just watching TV in bed.

The world lost a great friend. Dan was an empathetic companion and supporter, who always had time to listen to those who needed it. Because of his generosity and good spirit, for younger friends, employees, and other members of the community he became a figure to look up to. He always found a way to provide opportunities and second chances to those who needed it the most – and he always did so with a smile. The striking sunset on the day of his passing seems like a testament to the beauty he could always find in people and places all over the world.

There is a fine line between being strong and being numb. If Dan taught his loved ones anything, it is that happy, precious moments among family and friends, all those smiles, laughs, hugs and kisses help in difficult times. Sadness turns into gratitude for the time spent together. He will be greatly missed.

We will also have a barbecue at the family house in Mead that evening- Friday September 16th starting at 4:00 where we will cookout and enjoy all of Dan’s favorite drinks.
