June 12, 1943 – November 28, 2022
Charlotte Jean Oponski passed away in hospice on November 28th, 2022 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado at the age of 79. She was born on June 12, 1943 in Greenwich CT, the daughter of Vincent D. Meli and Margaret Moore Meli. She attended local schools in Greenwich and worked for the town of Greenwich specializing in library work in the public school system.
Charlotte is survived by her husband, Roman Oponski of Broomfield, CO, her sister Rose M. Meli of Illinois, and brothers Vincent D. Meli Jr and Charles A. Meli (Edith), both of Connecticut.
There will be a service on Flagstaff Mountain in Boulder on December 16th at noon.
