Michael Francis McCrudden

Michael Francis McCrudden, 27 years of age, passed away on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024. He is survived by his father Michael Francis McCrudden, his mother Karen Marie McCrudden, his sister Kaitlyn Michelle McCrudden, his grandmother Mary Grenville Burke, and his loyal German Shepard, Kyra.

Michael is also survived by his aunts and uncles: Robert (Bobby) McCrudden (Barbara Oro), Mary (Mike) Cotter, Steven McCrudden, Diane O’Brien, Barbara (Glenn) Mansfield, John (Brandy) Burke, Daniel Burke, James (Cathy) Burke, Patricia (Ronald) Bishop.

And his cousins: Jennifer Milidantri, Christina Madigan, James Cotter, Sean Cotter, Samantha O’Brien, Nicole O’Brien, Amanda O’Brien, Melissa Caldwell, Ryan Mansfield, Kristin Mansfield, Sean Burke, Ronald Bishop.

Michael was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Helen McCrudden, his maternal grandfather, John Burke, and by his brother, Robert McCrudden.

Michael was born on September 23rd 1996 in Louisville, Colorado to Mike and Karen McCrudden. Michael graduated from Monarch High School and continued his education at the University of Colorado in Boulder. He worked many successful years as a cook at Benihana’s in Superior, Colorado and provided friendship and guidance to many of his coworkers. His friends often referred to him as the “lawyer” of the group.

Michael had a love for gaming and spent many late nights connecting with fellow gamers from around the world. He had a unique skill for building computers and replacing computer parts to continually enhance his gaming activities. Michael’s grandparents often described him as wise beyond his years, and as and old soul; someone who’s been here before. Michael enjoyed helping those less fortunate and impacted many of those in need with his kindness and compassion.

Michael was an avid football player in high school where he acquired many friendships with his competitive teammates and was part of the winning state championship Monarch football team in 2012. Michael’s move to a better place in Heaven will allow him to look down upon his many friends and family in life and provide spiritual support for all of them.

There will be a viewing held at The Natural Funeral in Lafayette, Colorado on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 2-4pm.
