Lorie Angela Johnson Brown passed away Saturday, October 15th, at her home. She was 48 years old. She currently lived in Cripple Creek, Colorado. She was born August 2nd in Marietta, Georgia to Tommy and Shirley Johnson. She attended RM Moore elementary school, Teasley Middle School, and graduated from Cherokee High school in 1992. She also attended Le Cordon Bleu culinary school in Norcross, Georgia and Escoffier culinary school in Boulder, Colorado. She was a loving wife, mother, and homemaker to her family. She is survived by her husband James H. (Jim) Brown, two daughters Hannah Jane Brown and Autumn Ruth Brown, her mother and father Tommy and Shirley Johnson, one granddaughter Julia Danielle Garcia, several Aunts and Uncles, and a host of friends. There will be a small viewing for her close family on Wednesday October 19th at 3 pm at Mountain Memorial funeral home in Divide, Colorado. There will me a celebration of life event for her at a date to be determined later. She will have a natural disposition of her remains per her request.
