Inge passed away peacefully on April 14, 2024 in Scottsdale, Arizona after several months of being bedridden and under hospice care. She was a caring and generous soul. She excelled in all of her interests and had several degrees. She was a doctor of Naturopathic medicine. She deeply cared for her patients. Lifelong learning is something she enjoyed. In her last months she continued to listen to webinars for continuing education credits, even after she had lost most of her vision. She intended to keep living so that she could vote in the November election.
She attended several schools St. James Lutheran School, Arnold School, and Luther High School North in Chicago, Illinois; Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois; Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington; University of Illinois Circle Campus in Chicago, Illinois; College of St. Francis; University of Colorado at Colorado Springs; Southwest School of Naturopathic Medicine in Scottsdale, Arizona.
She was a medical transcriptionist for much of her life and entered a typing contest and won, typing over 100 words per minute. She had many achievements in her life. As a young girl she learned to tap dance. In high school she won the Illinois State Accordion Championship.
Collecting books was a hobby and she enjoyed all kinds of music. She enjoyed the botanic gardens in Scottsdale.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents. She is survived by her loving and caregiving husband, Hamid and their three cats that are their children, her sister, Margo (Phil), nephew and niece, Collin and Sarah (Andrew) and great niece, Madelyn and great nephew, Henry.
We wish to thank the hospice caregivers who came to visit weekly and take care of her.
