Dr. Bell interviewed me for the psychiatric training Uchsc program in 1985. I am grateful for the care he provided my referrals to him, and his generous consultations on difficult cases.
Dr. Bell was the best psychiatrist, by far.
Jon was an amazing person and a fantastic care giver. I was with him for close to 25 years and his kindness, guidance and expertise are deeply missed.

Dr. Ɓell was thorough, competent, up to date, respectful, and professional as a physician. As a human being he was kind, compassionate, and caring. Had to love his frog statues. A rare gentleman for these times. He will be missed.
It has been almost a year now since my dearest husband has passed. My whole life has changed since that terrible time, and I continue to miss him fiercely.
I want to thank everyone for the kind things they have written about Jon. He was a wonderful doctor, a loving parent, a dear brother and brother-in-law, the best uncle, a very special friend, the most wonderful dog dad ever, and a most beloved spouse.

I can’t know the depth of your loss, but I share in the grief of losing him. Jon gave so much of himself, and the bond we shared made him feel like family. I’ll miss the laughter, the debates, the wonderfully random conversations, and the “Jon-isms” that will always stay with me. He changed my life with his unconditional acceptance and encouragement. Thank you for the sacrifices each of you made that allowed him to touch so many lives. Ribbit!!
Dr. Bell was the kindest and most caring person I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. He helped me through some really tough times and we got to be great friends as well as having an amazing doctor patient relationship. His love of frogs often perplexed me but the frogs in his office also brought me comfort everytime I saw him. Rest easy Dr bell, catch a lot of fish and cheer on the nuggets from the great beyond. My condolences go out to his family because I know he will be greatly missed.
