September 29 1944-March 27 2024

David Yoder, a beloved resident of Boulder, Colorado, passed away peacefully at the age of 79. Born in Wichita, Kansas, and raised in Blackwell, Oklahoma, David’s heart found its home in the vibrant community of Boulder when he moved here in 1969.

Throughout his life, David was a spiritual seeker, a lover of family, a social aficionado and an entrepreneur, owning and operating a successful carpet cleaning business in Boulder called Precision Carpet Cleaning. Beyond his professional endeavors, he was known for his passion for live music, his love of True Nature, and was a foodie at heart.

David was the proud father of two children, Natha Perkins and Naomi Yoder and a dedicated grandfather to Evabella and Kellia Perkins. He was a loving partner to Debra Kuresman (son Gavin Dawson, wife Danielle), a best friend and brother to DJ Yoder (wife Carol, daughters Kristen Caton and Fara Yoder) and a dear cousin to BG Miller (wife Linda Miller) Carol Miller (deceased), Monte Miller (deceased), Glenda Miller and Larry Richardson.

David’s warm and welcoming nature endeared him to all who knew him. He had a kind heart and a generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. His vibrant community of family, friends and loved ones will miss him, treasure his memory and miss his unconditionally loving heart and infectious laugh.

There will be a celebration of life in June. If you’d like to make a donation in David’s honor, please consider donating to The Ridhwan Foundation.
