Casey Garber passed away on July 30, 2023. He was born on July 12, 1997, in Burlington, Iowa, and grew up in Oquawka, Illinois. He attended school at West Central High School and later lived in Colorado.
Casey was deeply curious and creative. He loved reading, writing, music, and photography. He also enjoyed cooking, spending time outdoors, and riding his motorcycle. He was passionate about veganism and living a healthy lifestyle. He found meaning in hiking and outdoor adventures, both on his own and with family.
Casey is survived by his partner, Madilyn Erxleben, and their children, River Erxleben, Rocky Erxleben, and Olive Erxleben; his parents, Kathy and Bryan White; his sister, Reagan; his niece, Genevieve; and other extended family members.
A celebration of life will be held in Monmouth, Illinois, on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at the Country Club from 1:00–3:00 p.m.
