My beautiful daughter. She was an amazing person and gifted in so many ways. She loved farming, all animals, the land and her community of friends.

Dear Scott and Toni,
The Young family and the Munchrath family have been good friends starting way back in the late 1950’s. Our parents got together to play “Bridge” together at our house and at the Young’ s home too. I remember when y’all called to tell us that you two had a new baby girl Andie, and we were thrilled. Time really flies by so fast. For example, I remember when my mother happily told our family that the Youngs just had a new baby boy, named Scott. I was in first grade.
Toni, not too long after Andie arrived, Alison and I had our son Eric. He will be 41 in June. Many years ago, Scott came to our house in The Woodlands to go to a concert at The Woodlands Pavilion. When he arrived he was wearing an Albert Einstein T-shirt and Eric mentioned that It was a really cool shirt and Scott said “Yeah, …..here, I want you to have it” and he took it off right there and handed it to Eric. Eric turned toward me and said “Dad, why would he do that!? And I said that’s because that’s because he is a really nice guy and he wanted you to enjoy it. It made a a good impression on Eric and he still remembers that day.
We are fortunate to have known all of the Youngs.
We moved to Houston in 1982 and have never made it back to Lafayette. We missed out on a lot of good Lafayette family time being located hundreds of miles away. We were fortunate to have seen Andi a few times when she was in Lafayette.
